As the cellulose fiber or particle, wood pulp etc. is used, and the amount of the cellulose ester in the coated cellulose (A) is e.g. 0.1% by weight or more. The cellulose derivative (B) in which the surface layer is esterified with an organic acid e.g. acetic acid, comprises a non-esterified portion in the core.
