Problems solved by technology

[0007] When the leak-proof wall deforms irregularly along with the above-mentioned deformation of the absorbent article, the adhesion between the leak-proof wall and the wearer's skin is reduced, and body exudate may flow out to the side beyond the leak-proof wall. The problem

Abstract

The invention provides an absorbent article which can prevent irregular falling or deformation of leakage preventing walls rising form a body, even if the body surface of the main body portion is irregularly deformed, so as to improve the leakage preventing effect of the leakage preventing walls. On the body surface of the main body portion 1, a pair of liquid impermeable members 11 and 12 are provided which extending along longitudinal direction. Leakage preventing wall-forming portions 11A and 12A of the liquid impermeable members 11 and 12 employ fixed portions 13 and 14 as starting point, and free edge can leave the body surface, and an elastic contractive force acts on the liquid impermeable members to reduce their longitudinal dimension at central region. Flaps 11B and 12B disposed at front end region of the liquid impermeable members thus folded back are fixed on underside. Therefore, even if the body 1 surface of the main body portion is irregularly deformed, the body can maintain the rising state of the liquid impermeable members 11 and 12.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to absorbent articles used as sanitary napkins, urine pads, and absorbent pads for diapers, and more particularly to absorbent articles that stabilize the shape of the leak-proof wall to enhance the effect of preventing side leakage of body exudates. Background technique [0002] In order to prevent side leakage of bodily fluids, there are absorbent articles in which leak-proof walls are provided inside both edge portions extending longitudinally. The longitudinal end regions of the leak-proof wall are pre-fixed on the surface of the absorbent article in an inseparable manner, and in the middle region sandwiched between the two end regions, one side of the leak-proof wall The edge portion is fixed on the surface of the absorbent article, while the free edge portion can be detached from the surface of the absorbent article, and in the middle region, an elastic member exerting an elastic contraction force is installed on the...
