The method includes designating 26 letters to the 10 digital keys according to special rules and 5 kinds of basic strokes, including horizontal, vertical, right slant, left slant and turning, to 5 digital keys in coding all Chinese characters. The said method supports conventional pronunciation input method, conventional stroke order input method and, especially, the mixed pronunciation and stroke order input method. The Chinese characters are prompted in display screen based on their frequency for selection. The said method is easy and high in input speed.
