Abstract

The invention relates to a system for data and energy transmission, comprising: a user of an automation system and a further user, wherein the user and the further user are connected and in communication; a voltage supply device which is used for supplying power supply voltage to a user through a data bus, wherein the user comprises a switching element for switching the user from a sleep state inwhich the user does not read the data signal emitted by the other user to a read state in which the user reads the data signal emitted by the other user; the switching element is designed to: determine whether a signal identifier emitted by a further user in order to initialize the data transmission coincides with a predetermined signal identifier; if the received signal identifier is consistent with the predetermined signal identifier, switching the user to a reading state; or if the received signal identifier is inconsistent with the predetermined signal identifier, keeping the user in a sleep state; and the user is configured to recover from the read state to the sleep state.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a system for combined data transmission and energy transmission in an automation system. The invention also relates to a user of a system for combined data transmission and energy transmission in an automation system. The invention additionally relates to a method for combined data transmission and energy transmission in an automation system. Background technique [0002] The combined power transmission and data transmission in the automation system has the advantage that considerable savings can be made in the wiring of the individual subscribers of the automation system. By using the connections required for the data transmission to supply power to the users of the automation system, additional connections for the power supply of these users can be dispensed with. [0003] In automation systems, the Power over Ethernet-Standard (PoE) for combined energy and data transmission has proven to be feasible. However, for many app...
