Abstract

The invention discloses a material box taking and placing method which comprises the steps of selecting an available material box robot according to information of a material box; controlling the material box robot to carry a goods shelf applicable to the material box; and controlling the material box robot to store the material box on the goods shelf. The invention also discloses the material boxrobot. According to the material box taking and placing method, the available material box robot is firstly selected according to the information of the material box; then, the material box robot iscontrolled to carry the suitable goods shelf; and finally, the material box is stored on the goods shelf. By the method, the goods shelf and the robot can be separated, so that the work efficiency ofthe robot is utilized to the maximum degree; the continuous goods picking time is saved; and the characteristics of high goods picking speed and high efficiency are realized.
