Abstract

The invention discloses a novel anti-falling device for old people going upstairs and downstairs. The novel anti-falling device comprises a main body which is provided with a clamping channel; two clamping bodies which are arranged on the inner wall of the left side and the inner wall of the right side of the clamping channel respectively, wherein at least one of the two clamping bodies can move relative to the main body so that the distance between the two clamping bodies can be adjusted; at least one pair of pulleys, wherein the two pulleys in each pair are rotatably arranged on the two clamping bodies respectively, and the two pulleys in each pair are suitable for being arranged on the two sides of the stair railing in a rolling fit mode; a plurality of braking devices which are arranged on the main body, are matched with the pulleys in a one-to-one corresponding mode, and are constructed to only allow the pulleys to rotate towards the advancing direction in a one-way mode, whereinwhen the rotating acceleration of the pulleys exceeds a preset threshold value, the braking devices can stop the pulleys from rotating. According to the novel anti-falling device for old people goingupstairs and downstairs, one-way movement can be achieved, and the advantages of falling resistance and portability are achieved.
