Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides an exposure time adjusting method applied to a camera. The method comprises the steps: determining the movement speed of a shooting target; determining a firsttime parameter according to the movement speed; wherein the higher the movement speed is, the smaller the first time parameter is; and adjusting the exposure time of the camera according to the determined first time parameter. By applying the exposure time adjusting method and device provided by the embodiment of the invention, the exposure time of the camera can be adjusted in the process of shooting the image by the camera, and the definition of the image acquired for the moving target is improved.
