Embodiment

[0826] A study was conducted to investigate the addition of a multi-site fungicide to a succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor fungicide and at least one other fungicide and the contribution of the multi-site fungicide to the efficacy of these mixtures. Experiments were conducted over a two-year period to study the effect of the addition of multi-site fungicides on the efficacy of succinate dehydrogenase inhibitors alone and in combination with fungicides. Dosage rates tested were 2000g / ha of tribasic copper sulphate (TBCS), 150ml / ha of ergosterol biosynthesis inhibitors, 200ml / ha of quinone external inhibitors, 1000g / ha of succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor fungicides and 200ml / ha. The efficacy of these combinations in disease control in soybeans was tested for the control of Asian soybean rust. These trials were conducted at various locations in India. soybean cultivars Monsoy 9144 RR experimenting. Commercially available active substances are used.

Abstract

The invention discloses a combination comprising a multi-site contact fungicide, a succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor fungicide and a second systemic fungicide; and a method using the same.

Description

Technical field: [0001] The present invention relates to combinations of fungicides. More specifically, the present invention relates to fungicidal combinations comprising succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor fungicides for the control of a broad spectrum of fungal diseases. Background technique: [0002] Fungicides are an essential tool for farmers to control disease and improve crop yield and quality. A variety of fungicides have been developed over the years with many desirable attributes such as specificity, systemic conductivity, curative and eradicative effects, and high activity at low application rates. [0003] Succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor (SDHI) fungicides are known in the art to be broad-spectrum and highly potent. Pyrazole carboxamides are a group of active compounds in the SDHI fungicide family known to be more effective than most other SDHI fungicides. These molecules specifically bind to the ubiquinone-binding site (Q site) of mitochondrial complex II, th...
