Abstract

The invention discloses an optimization method for road network traffic flow based on an improved TASEP model. The method comprises the following steps of: firstly, setting the edges of the network tohave different hopping rates and conform to the Poisson distribution; then, combining the real-time flow values and the number of particles on the corresponding sides at each intersection of the roadnetwork to design path strategies of the particles and control the motions of the particles; and finally, selecting a reasonable path of particles according to the roulette algorithm. The invention aims at the complex urban traffic road network, performs abstract modeling based on methods and concepts in the field of complex networks, and then reasonably controls the particle motion under the action of the TASEP model and the path strategy to achieve the optimization of the urban road network traffic flow and relieve the congestion. The invention makes two improvements on the basis of a traditional model, and designs a reasonable path strategy, thereby reasonably controlling the motions of the particles to achieve the optimization of system flow and relieve congestion, and providing new ideas and methods for studying urban traffic flow models.
