Abstract

The application provides a shell assembly, electronic equipment and a control method thereof. The shell assembly comprises a middle frame, a first ornament and a driving mechanism, wherein the middleframe is provided with a sound transmission channel; the first ornament is movably arranged on a sound outgoing side of the sound transmission channel; the driving mechanism comprises a motor and a screw rod; an output shaft of the motor is connected with the screw rod in order to drive the screw rod to rotate reciprocally; and the screw rod is connected with the first ornament in order to drive the first ornament to open or close the sound transmission channel on the sound outgoing side when the screw rod rotates reciprocally. Through the shell assembly, the sound transmission channel is closed when not in use, and opened only when in use so as to prevent external dust from entering the electronic equipment through the sound transmission channel, thereby improving the sound quality effect.
