Abstract

The invention provides a moving target active sensing method and device based on multi-camera cooperation. The method comprises the steps of carrying out calibration according to a master camera imageand a slave camera image and establishing a position mapping relationship; monitoring moving targets in the master camera image in real time, thereby obtaining a candidate target set; selecting candidate targets according to target importance and selecting a slave camera for tracking photographing according to the position mapping relationship; calculating a lens azimuth angle and zoom times, adjusting the slave camera to align with candidate target areas, and obtaining high-quality images of the candidate targets; and analyzing classes of the candidate targets according to the high-quality images, confirming the targets belonging to preset types as interested targets, and placing the interested targets into an interested target set. According to the device and the method, through utilization of the position corresponding relationship between a master camera and the slave camera, the slave camera is called to obtain the high-quality images of the candidate targets in the master cameraimage, target image features are extracted, the target classes are confirmed, and the targets are confirmed actively.
