Embodiment 1

[0065] In the prior art, data storage mainly includes three storage methods: online storage, offline storage and near-line storage. Online storage can provide the best data acquisition convenience, and it is very convenient and quick to read and write. The disadvantage is that it is relatively expensive and easy to damage data due to misoperation or accidental deletion of anti-virus software. Offline storage is used for permanent or long-term storage of data. Its storage media are usually portable or transportable, such as CDs, magnetic tapes, and mobile hard disks. However, each time data is read or written, the storage media must be manually placed into the storage system. The access speed of nearline storage is between online storage and offline storage, and the cost is lower than that of online storage, and there is no need to manually put storage media into the storage system. In order to reduce costs, improve reliability, reduce power consumption, and improve system main...

Embodiment 2

[0094] The difference between the nearline disk array library provided in this embodiment and Embodiment 1 is that:

[0095] One side of all the independent drive sets 1 is provided with multiple columns of contact areas 12, and each column of contact areas 12 is formed by one or more contact areas 12 arranged in a straight line along the column direction. The number of manipulators 2 is multiple, and each column of contact areas 12 Corresponding to a manipulator 2. In one implementation of this embodiment, one side of all independent driver sets 1 is provided with three columns of contact areas 12, and each column of contact areas 12 is formed by a plurality of contact areas 12 arranged in a straight line along the column direction, and the number of manipulators 2 is Three, each row of contact areas 12 corresponds to one manipulator 2 .

[0096] Specifically, contact areas 12 connected to the same disk array module 11 are provided in each column of contact areas 12. Each co...

Embodiment 3

[0101] The difference between the nearline disk array library provided in this embodiment and Embodiment 1 is that:

[0102] One side of each set of all independent drives 1 is provided with a row of contact areas 12 , there is one manipulator 2 , and each row of contact areas 12 corresponds to one manipulator 2 . The manipulator 2 can only perform read or write operations on the disk array module 11 at a time, and cannot perform read and write operations at the same time. Since the conduction between the disk array module and the data management server is mostly mechanically operated, manpower is saved and work efficiency is improved.

[0103] Figure 15-Figure 20 It shows several views in which all the independent drive sets provided by this embodiment are connected to a manipulator. In detail, Figure 15 It is a three-dimensional schematic diagram of all independent driver sets provided by the present invention being connected to a manipulator, Figure 16 is an enlarged ...

Abstract

The invention provides a near-line disk array library, which comprises all independent driver sets, mechanical arms, a controller and a data management server. All the independent driver sets comprisea plurality of magnetic disk array modules arranged in M rows and N columns. A contact area which extends in the row direction or in the column direction is arranged on one side of all the independent driver sets. The contact area comprises contact points which are in one-to-one correspondence with the M * N magnetic disk array modules, wherein M and N are integers greater than or equal to 2. Each row or each column of contact area corresponds to one mechanical arm. The controller is used for controlling the mechanical arms to move, achieving the connection of the data management server and the disk array modules and then realizing the data transmission. According to the invention, compared with the form of a typical magnetic disk array, the above near-line disk array library is low in cost, high in reliability and good in maintainability. The double-path or multi-path read-write operation can be performed on independent disk drivers. Meanwhile, the data acquisition is convenient, andthe equipment stability is good. The energy consumption is low.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of storage systems, in particular to a nearline disk array library. Background technique [0002] The process of digitization generates a large amount of data storage requirements, a considerable part of which comes from sensors, especially image sensors. Video surveillance is a typical application of image sensors, and its workflow can be divided into two parts, one is to record the video data stream continuously and sequentially without interruption; the other is to call the recorded video. Since the recalled operation is random and triggered by external emergencies, the data access process of video surveillance has the characteristics of "sequential write, random read". Among them, sequential writing is an uninterrupted continuous process, and random reading does not happen frequently, and is an operation of randomly calling data in a time window of the recorded time series. The application of a working...
