Abstract

The invention relates to a collaborative review method between heterogeneous PDM systems. The collaborative review method comprises the steps that S1. the first model data of a first PDM system are selected and converted into second model data; S2. the first PDM system acquires the second model data and performs first reviewing and shares the second model data and a review state information tablewith a second PDM system if first reviewing is passed; S3. second reviewing of the second model data is performed in the first PDM system and the second PDM system, and the review state information table is updated and shared between the first PDM system and the second PDM system; and S4. when the first PDM system passes reviewing of the second model data or the second PDM system passes reviewingof the second model data, the first PDM system transmits the complete data to the second PDM system. The review process of the two different systems for the model data can be shortened through bidirectional sharing and synchronous result reviewing between the first PDM system and the second PDM system so that the review time for the model data can be further shortened and the review efficiency canbe enhanced.
