Benefits of technology

This technology helps detect when there are no significant signals from other sources that could affect its performance or cause issues during operation by combining two techniques: suppressing interferers and classifying them accordingly based on their impacts on certain aspects such as signal quality (quality) levels).

Problems solved by technology

This patented technical problem addressed in this patents relates to improving the performance of electronic devices that are sensitive to radio waves caused by various sources such as gunfire or explosion signals during flight operations. These threats may cause damage if they occur without being detected properly. Current methods have limitations due to their lack of specificity and sensitivity towards certain types of noise.

Abstract

The invention belongs to the field of radar anti-jamming, and provides a method for detecting the existence of blanket jamming based on the peak characteristics of an FRFT (Fractional Fourier Transform) domain in order to solve the problem that the existing method for detecting the existence of blanket jamming based on characteristic parameter extraction is of low credibility in detection result and of poor applicability. First, from the point of view of a complete radar anti-jamming system, a general idea of combining blanket jamming existence detection with target detection and jamming classification is presented. Then, based on the full analysis of the difference in peak characteristics of LFM (Linear Frequency Modulation) signals and blanket jamming signals in an FRFT domain, the peak order of echo signals in the FRFT domain is selected as a special parameter. Finally, the peak order of multiple segments of echo signals in the FRFT domain is decided using a sequential decision algorithm, thus completing the existence detection of blanket jamming.
