Abstract

The invention provides two backlight modules and corresponding liquid crystal display devices. Each backlight module is internally provided with a light collimation structure. Each light collimation structure comprises a convergence turning component and a reflecting component arranged on the periphery of the convergence turning component, wherein the two opposite surfaces of the convergence turning component are provided with a convex surface and a reflecting surface respectively; the reflecting component comprises a paraboloid used for reflecting backlight. After being converged through the corresponding convex surface, backlight rays emitted by each backlight unit can be concentrated near the focal point of the corresponding paraboloid and can be transmitted to the corresponding reflecting component under the reflection effect of the corresponding reflecting surface. According to the collimation principle and the light path reversible principle of the paraboloids, the backlight rays emitted near the focal points of the paraboloids can be emitted at small emission angles after the reflection effect of the reflection components. The small-angle backlight can enter corresponding quantum dot units completely, and the problems that the color purity of backlight is reduced and color crosstalk between the three-primary-color backlight occurs are solved.
