Abstract

The invention discloses a video image processing method and apparatus wherein the method comprises the following steps: obtaining a to-be-processed image from a video resource; identifying the subtitles in the to-be-processed image; determining the preset position corresponding to the subtitles; and presenting push information at the preset position corresponding to the subtitles when the to-be-processed image is being played. According to the invention, it is possible to present push information around the subtitles so that when a viewer reads the subtitles, he or she can also notice the push information. In this way, the attention of the viewer can be drawn; and since the push information is arranged near the subtitles, the video watching by the viewer is not compromised, therefore, increasing the user's use experience.
