Embodiment Construction

[0149] An automatic segmentation method for consistent damaged areas of Buddha statues like thangkas, comprising the following steps:

[0150] a. Select the head area

[0151] The original Thangka image to be segmented obtained through digitization is a color image, denoted as F(x, y), and the head area t(x, y) of the Buddha statue in the image is obtained by manual selection or computer selection; where , the computer selection process is as follows:

[0152] a.1 Thangka image normalization

[0153]Through the statistics of the digital image of Thangka, it is concluded that the image size suitable for Thangka image processing and recognition is: 400×520, so the size of the damaged Thangka image is normalized to 400×520;

[0154] a.2 Semi-automatic selection of the head region

[0155] Through the experimental statistics of the digital images of Thangka, it is found that the head area is generally in the middle and upper part of the normalized image. Therefore, the pixel p...

Abstract

The invention provides a method for automatically segmenting consistent damage areas for buddha figure Thangkas. The method includes the steps of conducting vertical projection for a head light area of a Thangka image, obtaining an image symmetric axis by using a one-dimensional function symmetry detection method, obtaining an initial segmentation result by employing a partitioning segmentation method based on the symmetric axis, obtaining the image covered by the damage areas, extracting texture characteristics by using Gabor transformation, constructing a multi-scale and multi-characteristic set in combination with Lab space color characteristics, employing KNN classification to obtain a secondary segmentation result, further refining the damage areas by using morphological operation, and removing small damage areas to finally obtain a template of consistent damage areas. Through the method, various large-scale linear and block falling areas in the buddha figure Thangkas can be automatically segmented, the segmentation speed is fast, the efficiency and accuracy are high, and rapid automatic segmentation of the damage areas of buddha figure Thangkas can be realized.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of image processing, and relates to an automatic segmentation method for consistent damaged areas of Buddha statues like thangkas. Background technique [0002] The so-called automatic segmentation of the consistent damaged area of Buddha-like Thangka is to use a certain algorithm to first extract the symmetry axis of the Buddha-like Thangka image, and use the block segmentation algorithm based on the symmetry axis to obtain the initial segmentation result; then use Gabor transform to extract the initial segmentation. Texture features, and then combined with the Lab color space feature information consistent with human vision, together form a multi-scale multi-feature set, using the KNN classifier to achieve re-segmentation of the damaged area; finally, the final damage is obtained after removing small areas using morphological operations regional technology. The automatic segmentation of the damaged ar...
