Abstract

The invention disclose a video event list establishment system and method based on a monitored object. The video event list establishment method is characterized in that: a processing device establishes an event list according to a happened event of the monitored object; a video index is established according to happening time of the event and a related camera which monitors the event of the monitored object, wherein each event in the list corresponds to an event video of the monitored object; and a display device displays the event list, and the display device automatically plays the video content of the event of the monitored object when one event is chosen in the event list. The video event list establishment system and method divide the video into segments according to events to form a video event catalogue with the happened event of the monitored object as a main line and event happening time as a sequence, user can easily know the video content; the event video content can be automatically displayed through clicking the event in the list and the fast video tracking effect can be obtained.
