Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a call waiting configuration method and apparatus and a Volte terminal. The method comprises the steps of: inquiring a call waiting state by a CS (circuit switching) domain interface; and when the call waiting state is a forbidden state, setting the call waiting state as an on state by the CS domain interface. By adopting the method provided by the embodiment of the invention, when the Volte terminal is positioned in a non-Volte network, a call waiting state at a network side is always kept being the on state; and when the Volte terminal is positioned in the non-Volte network, a user can set the call waiting state at the Volte terminal, e.g. if the call waiting state is set as the forbidden state, the network side cannot intercept a third path of incoming call, but the Volte terminal can intercept the third path of incoming call, and if the call waiting state is set as the on state, the network side is always in the on state, and thus, call waiting of the user is effective. Therefore, uniform setting on the call waiting state in a Volte network or the non-Volte network can be achieved at the Volte terminal, so that user experience is promoted.
