Abstract

The method comprises the following steps: 10kV cables of different operating life are tested to form test sample groups of different operating life; the partial discharge test result is in normal distribution when the sample size of a sample group is large enough, and a judgment threshold of standard is taken from a certain range in the negative direction of normal distribution; corresponding judgment thresholds for the sample groups of different operating life are formed; and then, cable intermediate joint faults in different positions are tested to form test sample groups, and statistics of fault locating results of the sample groups and the actual joint position deviation is made to obtain a deviation value which is used as a judgment standard value.
