Problems solved by technology

[0004] There are no corresponding research results on the classification and coding of indoor map elements at present, and there are some literatures abroad, mainly including "A detailed analysis of a new 3D spatial feature vector for indoor scene classification" (Agnes Swadzba et al. "Special Issue Semantic Perception ,Mapping and Exploration"), "Smart Lightweight Indoor Maps" (Sangthong, Sathittham et al. "2nd International Symposium on Computer, Communication, Control and Automation (3CA)"), however, the above literature only discusses some principles of classification and coding of indoor map elements , did not study its specific classification and coding methods and processes

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for classifying and encoding indoor map elements. The method comprises the following steps: step 1: according to the properties and characteristics of the indoor map elements, classifying the indoor map elements into 13 categories, then classifying each category into a plurality of classes, and classifying each class into a plurality of subclasses; step 2: establishing an encoding system for the classified elements by adopting 6 decimal number codes, respectively giving 2 decimal number codes for each category, each class and each subclass, and arranging the categories of number codes, the classes of number codes and the subclasses of number codes in order; step 3: synthesizing the categories, the classes and the subclasses of the elements, and determining the type code value of each element. The method can clearly indicate the classifications and the type codes of the indoor map elements so that the indoor map elements can be integrated with outdoor map elements well, so as to serve indoor and outdoor navigation.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of indoor and outdoor navigation, and relates to a navigation method, in particular to a method for classifying and encoding indoor map elements. Background technique [0002] Nowadays, indoor and outdoor navigation is a hot research field. Outdoor navigation is supported by relatively mature classification and coding standards of various maps and related elements, while indoor navigation uses planar diagrams as its map basis. Plane schematic diagrams are usually physical graphics fixed on the interior walls of buildings, etc., facing all kinds of people entering and leaving the place and taking into account the needs of different aspects as much as possible. Design Principles and Requirements Part 3: Floor Plans and Information Boards. The indoor floor plan has no clear data classification and layering, and each data layer is the necessary basis for spatial query and path analysis in location services. The...
