Embodiment 1

[0015] Embodiment 1, a kind of method for honeybee overwintering in high latitude area, is characterized in that concrete steps are:

[0016] a. Determine overwintering bees: From August 20 to September 10, use the seeds produced by the queen bee during this period as the right-age overwintering bees for the second year;

[0017] b. Control mites: From September to October, when there are sporadic honey sources outside, clean up the large and small bee mites, so that the bees can survive the winter easily;

[0018] c. Feed preparation: When the last nectar source is in autumn, leave enough feed for overwintering to reach bee feet and honey feet; each group of overwintering bees has 5-7 large honeycombs, that is, no less than 20,000 bees, and bee feed Not less than 20kg;

[0019] d. Cloth beehives: After November 10th, bees can move at any time and move the beehives into the wintering grounds. It can be excreted automatically, so as to achieve refreshing and flying, which is ...

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for honeybees to overwinter in high latitude areas. The method comprises the steps that (a) overwintering bees are determined, wherein honeybee pupae produced by a queen bee between August 20th and September 10th are selected as overwintering honeybees of a second year at the right age; (b) mites are controlled, wherein the bee mites are killed cleanly when sporadic nectar sources exist during the period between September and October; (c) fodder is prepared, the fodder is reserved sufficiently during the last nectar source in autumn, and five to seven pieces of comb honey are arranged for each overwintering swarm, namely, at least 20 kg fodder is provided for at least twenty thousand honeybees; (d) beehives are laid out, wherein the beehives are moved into an overwintering site for being laid after November 10th, and the door face of each beehive faces north or west; (e) inspection is carried out, wherein full inspection is carried out on the swarms at the beginning of December, and it is guaranteed that the queen bee is available, fodder is sufficient, and the honey comb is full of honeybees; (f) heat preservation is carried out, wherein straw curtains, newspapers and the like cover the upper faces and the peripheries of the beehives for heat preservation and winter protection. On-site overwintering of the swarms and fixed point bee-keeping are achieved through the method, trouble and difficulties brought by flow bee-keeping are reduced, and the survival rate of the overwintering swarms is over 93 percent.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of bee breeding, in particular to a method for overwintering honeybees in high latitude areas. Background technique [0002] Most of my country's beekeeping industry is in the traditional beekeeping mode. Beekeepers will move to the southern regions with low latitude, high temperature and nectar source plants from October to May of the next year for the winter. There are examples of wintering indoors in lower northern latitudes, but there is no successful example of wintering outdoors. In many high-latitude regions, such as Xinjiang, Gansu and other provinces, bee colonies in some bee farms have suffered severe bee reduction during wintering, and even all bee colonies in the field have died. [0003] Gansu Jingtai is located at 36°43' north latitude, 1630.9m above sea level, with an annual average temperature of 8.6°C and an annual rainfall of 183.5mm. Before 2004, more than 120 groups of bees in Tiaoshan Farm w...
