Embodiment

[0086] Such as Figure 4 As shown, it is a flow chart of a method for determining the stage of oil and gas accumulation in this embodiment. It includes the following steps: (1) Based on S1, S2 and TOC, establish a model diagram of the variation of hydrocarbon generation potential index of source rocks with burial depth; (2) determine the hydrocarbon expulsion of source rocks Threshold and hydrocarbon expulsion rate; (3) Determine hydrocarbon expulsion intensity according to source rock thickness, burial depth, density, TOC, hydrocarbon expulsion threshold and hydrocarbon expulsion rate; (4) Determine hydrocarbon expulsion amount by area integration according to hydrocarbon expulsion intensity; (5) Determine the peak period of oil and gas expulsion according to the amount of hydrocarbon expulsion in different geological historical periods; (6) Determine the plane hydrocarbon expulsion range of source rocks according to the distribution area and hydrocarbon expulsion intensity o...

Abstract

The invention relates to a method and device for determining the oil and gas accumulation period of a complex superimposed basin. The method comprises the steps that a mode chart showing changes of the hydrocarbon generation potential index of a source rock along with the burial depth is made; the hydrocarbon expulsion threshold and the hydrocarbon expulsion rate of the source rock are determined according to the mode chart showing the changes of the hydrocarbon generation potential index of the source rock along with the burial depth; the hydrocarbon expulsion intensities are determined according to the hydrocarbon expulsion threshold and the hydrocarbon expulsion rate of the source rock; the hydrocarbon expulsion amounts are determined according to the hydrocarbon expulsion intensities; peak periods for discharging oil and gas are determined according to hydrocarbon expulsion amounts of different earth history periods; the planar hydrocarbon expulsion ranges of the source rock are determined according to the distribution areas and the hydrocarbon expulsion intensities of the source rocks at the different peak periods for discharging oil and gas; the oil and gas accumulation period is determined through superposition of the planar hydrocarbon expulsion ranges at the different peak periods for discharging oil and gas. The method and device solve the problem that the oil and gas accumulation period of a basin with oil and gas, especially of the complex superimposed basin, is difficult to determine, lower the risk of oil-gas exploration, indicate the oil-gas exploration direction, and have a wide application range.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of oil-gas basin analysis, in particular to a method and a device for determining the stages of oil-gas accumulation in complex superimposed basins. Background technique [0002] The period of oil and gas accumulation is a difficult point in the study of oil and gas accumulation in petroleum basins. Determining the formation time of oil and gas reservoirs not only has far-reaching theoretical significance for the study of the formation and distribution of oil and gas reservoirs, but also has important practical significance for guiding oil and gas field exploration. If in an area, we can determine that the oil and gas reservoirs were formed in a certain geological age, then the traps formed before that age are beneficial to oil and gas accumulation; otherwise, the traps formed after that are unfavorable to oil and gas accumulation. [0003] At present, the commonly used methods to determine the formation ti...
