A circular stapler comprising a stapler main body (10), an anvil component (20) matching the stapler main body (10), an operating handle (30) pivotally connected to the stapler main body (10), and a staple pushrod (115) arranged within the stapler main body (10). The staple pushrod (115) is provided with an initial position and a firing position. The operating handle (30) is capable of driving the staple pushrod (115) to move from the initial position of the staple pushrod (115) to the firing position of the staple pushrod (115). The circular stapler also comprises a brake pin (113) pivotally connected to the stapler main body (10). The brake pin (113) is provided with an initial position and a secondary firing prevention position. When the brake pin (113) is at the initial position thereof, the operating handle (30) and the brake pin (113) are provided therebetween with a gap. When the brake pin (113) is at the secondary firing prevention position thereof, the operating handle (30) is in contact with the brake pin (113).
