Abstract

A method and apparatus for data processing, wherein the data processing method comprises: According to a timing acquisition request, an Element Management System(EMS) acquires timingly the data stored in the data storage unit of said EMS, then reports to a Network Management System(NMS). Based on a complemental acquisition request, the EMS complement acquires an updating data stored in said data storage unit, and then reports to said NMS. By applying the complemental acquisition of the updated data in the above-mentioned data processing method and apparatus, the network data of lower levels can be acquired by the NMS in time and accurately.
