Problems solved by technology

However, there are very few related studies on the spectral characteristics of rare earth elements and the relationship between their chemical properties. The available literature mainly includes the spectra of Eu, Nd, and Sm rare earth oxides measured in the USGS spectral library; Enton Bedini discovered the spectrum of a carbonatite sample containing rare earth oxides in spectral measurements. Because of the Nd element, there are spectral absorption characteristics in the visible light-near infrared bands of 0.58 μm, 0.74 μm, and 0.80 μm.

Abstract

The invention discloses a system and method for quantificationally evaluating concentration of rare earth in a water body based on ground reflection spectrum; and on the basis of ground reflection spectrum data, quick quantificational inversion of concentration of rare earth element in the water body can be realized. The system provided by the invention comprises a rare earth water sample collection device, a surface feature spectrometer, an ICP-MS plasma mass spectrometer and a computer; the rare earth water sample collection device is used for collecting tombarthite water samples with different concentrations; the surface feature spectrometer is used for performing ground reflection spectral measurement to the collected rare earth water samples and for analyzing and determining characteristic absorption valley distribution characteristics having indication significance to rare earth concentration; the ICP-MS plasma mass spectrometer is used for performing rare earth element concentration testing to the collected rare earth water samples; and the computer works out the relative absorption depth of a characteristic absorption valley according to the obtained characteristic absorption valley distribution characteristics and establishes the correlation between the relative absorption depth of the characteristic absorption valley and the rare earth element concentration to obtain a quantificational evaluation model of rare earth concentration.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of research on the spectral characteristics of rare earth elements, in particular to a system and method for quantitatively evaluating rare earth concentration in water based on ground reflection spectrum. Background technique [0002] Ground reflectance spectroscopy measurement technology is a fast, cheap and non-destructive technical means to obtain the spectral characteristics of samples. Spectral absorption characteristics are generally closely related to material composition. Previous studies have shown that cations related to electronic conversion and transition processes, such as Fe, Ti, Cr, and rare earth elements, have characteristic absorption in the visible-near-infrared band, and these absorption characteristics The position, shape, depth and other parameters of the element are determined by the chemical properties of the element. Correlation studies between spectral absorption features and chemical featu...
