Abstract

The encoding step comprises the steps of obtaining a character input by a user, wherein the character is an element in a character matrix defined in advance, and the total number of the rows of the character matrix and the total number of the columns of the character matrix are smaller than or equal to G; analyzing the row number and column number of the characters in the character matrix; searching the first code word corresponding to the column quantity and the second code word corresponding to the row quantity in the G code words; and carrying out dual-tone multi-frequency encoding on the first code word and the second code word to generate an encoding signal, and transmitting the encoding signal. The decoding step comprises receiving the encoding signal, carrying out dual-tone multi-frequency decoding on the encoding signal, and generating the first code word and the second code word in the G code words; and taking the first code word as the column number and the second code word as the row number, and finding out the character in the character matrix according to the column number and the row number.
