Benefits of technology

This invention relates to improving the efficiency with pesticides used against bacterial plant pathogens such as those caused by fungi (powders) and insects. By combining these ingredients together at certain stages during production, it becomes possible to achieve more effective treatments without increasing their cost compared to just one component alone.

Problems solved by technology

This patented technical problem addressed in this patents relates to the development of effective treatments against powdered milkweeds (Pseudomonas spp.) caused by fungus called Pimelospora curassii which causes Powaycachinosis that damages crops such as tomato plants during their growing stages. Current methods involve applying chemical pesticides like trichlormethylamine, pyrithrin, pyrethroids, copper sulfate, calcium hydroxide, bacteria, nitrifying acid solution, heat treatment, water washing, sunlight exposure, and other techniques aimed towards reducing damage to vegetables grown throughout temperatures around 15°C and low moistures.

Abstract

Disclosed are a bactericide composition, a bactericide pesticide and an application of the bactericide composition and the bactericide pesticide. The composition is composed of kresoxim-methyl and cuppric nonyl phenolsulfonate, and the weight ratio between the kresoxim-methyl and the cuppric nonyl phenolsulfonate is in the range of (1:50)-(50:1). The composition is used as an effective component and combined with a helper component which is receptive in the pesticide to compose the bactericide pesticide; compared with the single composite or the single helper component, the bactericide pesticide is obvious in preventing powdery mildew and leaf spot of a plurality of fruit plants or vegetables and particularly in preventing powdery mildew of cucumbers, apple altermaria leaf spot and powdery mildew of strawberries, and the bactericide pesticide has obvious synergism effects and can postpone the generation of insecticide resistance; and accordingly, the dosage of the bactericide pesticide is reduced, the cost is reduced, the application range of the bactericide pesticide is widened, and the popularization values of the bactericide pesticide are obvious.
