Problems solved by technology

However, it is not necessarily possible to sufficiently satisfy such a requirement by technologies in related fields
[0009] In the case of inspection by sequentially contacting the probe at a plurality of positions on the body surface, it is required to improve the positioning accuracy of the probe and to achieve good operability in positioning the probe, but it cannot necessarily be fully satisfied by the technology of the related art. this request

Embodiment Construction

[0051] The preferred embodiments of the present invention will now be described with reference to the drawings.

[0052] figure 1 The cross section of the abdominal region of the living body is schematically shown. figure 1 In particular, a situation is shown in which index values related to the amount of visceral fat are measured and calculated. The X direction is the direction of the spine, the Z direction is the direction of the thickness of the living body, and the Y direction is the left and right direction. figure 1 The cross section of is the cross section observed by setting the line of sight from the thigh side to the head side.

[0053] in figure 1 Here, reference numeral 10 denotes the abdomen area of a living body, wherein the lower side of the abdomen area 10 denotes the back, and the upper side of the abdomen area 10 denotes the surface 12 of the abdomen area 10. For example, the living body is placed face up on the bed. Inside the abdominal region 10, there is a...

Abstract

When an amount of visceral fat is measured using ultrasonic waves during medical examination of metabolic syndrome, three contact positions are defined on the surface of the abdominal region, and three distances inside the living body are measured by bringing a probe into contact with the surface of the abdominal region at the contact positions. Specifically, three measurement paths having a starting point at the center of the descending aorta are set, and the distances from the center to a surface of the fat layer adjacent to the surface of the body (inner surface of the subcutaneous layer) in the measurement paths are observed. An approximate area of a visceral fat region (20) can be determined from the three distances and two angles defined by the three measurement paths, and an index value is calculated on the basis of the area. A probe holder is desirably used during the above-described measurement. The probe holder includes three holding portions that selectively hold the probe.

Description

Technical field [0001] The invention relates to an ultrasonic diagnostic system, in particular to an ultrasonic diagnostic system for measuring visceral fat. Background technique [0002] In the medical field, ultrasonic diagnostic systems are being used. Generally, an ultrasonic diagnostic system is formed by an ultrasonic diagnostic device or a combination of an ultrasonic diagnostic device and a computer. The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes: an ultrasonic probe that transmits ultrasonic waves to a living body and receives reflected waves from the living body; and an apparatus main body that performs image formation and various measurements based on signals received from the ultrasonic probe. With ultrasound diagnosis, problems such as radiation exposure that occur in X-ray diagnosis can be avoided, and ultrasound diagnosis does not require large-scale equipment such as those required for X-ray diagnosis. Due to this convenience, it is ideal to apply ultrasound diagn...
