Problems solved by technology

The existing dynamic bandwidth allocation algorithms for PON are mainly designed for TDMA, such as the adaptive periodic interpolation polling (IPACT) algorithm, etc., which cannot adapt to the characteristics of the new OFDM-PON technology, so in order to promote OFDM-PON With the development of technology, it is very important to design a new dynamic bandwidth allocation algorithm suitable for OFDM-PON systems

Embodiment Construction

[0038] The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings in the embodiments of the present invention. Obviously, the described embodiments are only part of the embodiments of the present invention, not all of them. Based on the embodiments of the present invention, all other embodiments obtained by persons of ordinary skill in the art without making creative efforts belong to the protection scope of the present invention.

[0039] figure 2 Shown is a schematic diagram of allocation of OFDM subcarriers. Since OFDM modulation is a multi-carrier modulation method, and each subcarrier is orthogonal to each other, the present invention divides the subcarrier into three parts, 200 is the subcarrier used for the control channel, 201 is the subcarrier constituting the default bandwidth of each ONU, and 202 is the subcarrier belonging to A carrier stores subcarriers in a dyn...

Abstract

The invention discloses a dynamic bandwidth allocation algorithm applied to an OFDM-PON (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing-Passive Optical Network) system and belongs to optical fiber communication systems. The invention utilizes an interruption application response method to realize the bandwidth request and allocation; a plurality of subcarriers in the system are divided into three parts, namely, a communication channel control part, an ONU (Optical Network Unit) default bandwidth part and a part stored in a dynamic pool; when the load on the link is light, each ONU compares respective local flow with local threshold value so as to decide whether an interruption application for extra bandwidth is started; and when the load on the link is heavy, an OLT (Optical Line Terminal) allocates the surplus subcarriers based on the requiring ratio of the ONUs under the condition that the rated bandwidth of the ONUs is met firstly, so as to realize dynamic allocation. The invention ensures low time delay and low package loss rate of a high priority service, also performs bandwidth allocation as required, and can meet the equal allocation between the ONUs and the equal-level priority service when the load of link service flow is heavy.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention designs a novel QoS-based interrupt request response dynamic bandwidth allocation algorithm in an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing Passive Optical Network (OFDM-PON) system, and belongs to the category of an optical fiber communication system. Background technique [0002] With the rapid development of the economy, the core part of the network has undergone earth-shaking changes, both switching and transmission have been updated, and the access network due to economic problems such as user business needs, user density, and user economic affordability Slow development due to many reasons, such as Internet access, has become a bottleneck restricting the development of the network to broadband and full service. The access network is the bridge for users to enter the MAN / backbone network, and the "last mile" of the information transmission channel. High-bandwidth consuming services are gradually emerging, and bandwidth acceleration ...
