Embodiments of the invention disclose an address distribution method, an apparatus and a system thereof. The method comprises the following steps that: a address pool management server receives a address request message transmitted by a first broadband remote access server (BRAS) in a BRAS cluster; the address pool management server comprises current idle address information of the each BRAS in the BRAS cluster; according to the current idle address information of the each BRAS in the BRAS cluster, the idle addresses of the second BRAS in the BRAS cluster are sent to the first BRAS and the idle addresses of the second BRAS are distributed to terminal equipment which is connected with the first BRAS. By using the technical scheme provided in the embodiments of the invention, the address pool management server can uniformly manage and distribute the addresses in the BRAS cluster. Therefore, distribution and a usage efficiency of the addresses can be effectively raised.
