Abstract

The present invention relates to a liquid supply system and a liquid consumption apparatus with the same, which can inhibit the dust form entering from the inlet in the process of supplementing liquid, without enabling the operation of supplementing the liquid from the inlet of a liquid container. The position of the upper portion of one side of the liquid container is provided with an inlet with the opening arranged towards the horizontal direction, and when the liquid is supplemented, the inlet is arranged upwards to lay the liquid container on one side thereof. Further, a cover component for covering on the inlet is arranged, the cover component is located at the upper side of the liquid container in the state that the liquid container is arranged on one side thereof, the position of one side opposite to the side provided with the ink inlet, of the cover component is supported by a shaft. Therefore, dust is difficult to accumulate near the inlet, thereby preventing the dust from entering from the inlet in the process of supplementing the liquid.
