Embodiment Construction

[0029] The present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0030] The present invention provides a 10G-EPON system arbitrary slot PON card port rapid protection switching device, such as figure 1 As shown, the 10G-EPON system includes OLT and several ONUs.

[0031] There is a main control card on the OLT, and several groups of PON service protection switching groups are configured to the main control card through the network management platform. Each group of PON service protection switching groups is composed of two identical PON service cards, and the PON service card can be an EPON service card. , GPON service card, 10GEPON service card or 10G GPON service card, etc., are respectively inserted in any slot on the backplane of the OLT to realize different PON services. Each PON service card is equipped with a CPLD (Complex Programmable Logic Device) complex programmable logic device, and has several PON ports.

Abstract

The invention discloses a method and device for rapid protection switching of passive optical network (PON) ports in any slot position in a 10 Gbit / s Ethernet PON (10G-EPON) system. The method comprises the following steps: a plurality of PON service protection switching groups formed by two identical PON service cards are arranged on an optical line terminal (OLT); any PON port on one PON service card and any PON port on the other PON service card in each PON service protection switching group are configured as main and standby PON ports respectively; and complex programmable logic devices (CPLDs) on the PON service cards respectively detect the working condition of each autonomous PON port in real time, close optical modules on the main PON ports and notify the other PON service card of enabling the optical modules on the corresponding standby PON ports via protection switching data frames when lost of synchronous (LOS) signals on one or more main PON ports are detected on one PON service card. In the invention, the CPLDs are adopted to detect and judge the switching conditions and control switching, thus avoiding the problem of long switching time caused by using software for treatment and effectively ensuring rapid recovery of services when a single disk or main optical fiber has a fault.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to network protection of a 10G-EPON system, in particular to a method and a device for fast protection switching of a PON port at any slot in the 10G-EPON system. Background technique [0002] PON (Passive Optical Network) is an emerging optical fiber broadband access technology covering the last mile. It does not require node equipment at the optical branch point, but only needs to install a simple optical splitter, so it has the advantages of saving optical cable resources and bandwidth. Resource sharing, saving equipment room investment, no electromagnetic interference, high equipment security, fast network construction speed, and low comprehensive network construction cost. [0003] Saving the trunk fiber is a great advantage of the PON system, but it also brings a risk. Once the trunk fiber in the PON system fails, it will cause all optical network units (ONUs) connected to the trunk fiber to At the same time, the communicat...
