Abstract

The invention discloses a long-distance dispatching desk access method based on PCM (pulse code modulation) in the technical filed of communication. The method comprises the following steps: adding a first PCM transmission device and a second PCM transmission device respectively at two sides of a first switcher and a second switcher; connecting two B passages and a D passage on the U interface of the first switcher to a time slot corresponding to the E1 interface of the first PCM transmission device; connecting two B passages and a D passage on the U interface of the second switcher to a time slot corresponding to the E1 interface of the second PCM transmission device; and connecting the first PCM transmission device and the second PCM transmission device through an E1 circuit. In the invention, the switcher is connected through the E1 circuit instead of an ISDN (integrated services digital network) circuit, the transmission distance is increased, and the long-distance dispatching capability of the long-distance dispatching desk is improved.
