Embodiment Construction

[0031] Now refer to views, in particular Figure 1a and Figure 1b , the container 10 includes a container body 11 , a closure 20 and a cap 40 . Cap 40 is pivotally connected to closure 20 by hinge 42 . Such as Figure 1bAs shown, a tab 44 is provided on the cap 40 which allows a user to easily grip the cap 40 to remove the cap 40 from the top of the closure 20 . Cap 40 preferably provides a primary moisture-tight seal to the contents of container 10 .

[0032] Advantageously, container 10 has a height of 1 to 10 inches and a diameter of 1 to 4 inches. In alternative configurations, if the container is not in cylindrical configuration, the width and depth of the container are in the range of 1 to 4 inches.

[0033] Referring now to Figure 2 to Figure 5 , closure 20 includes a bottom 22 that includes threads 23 that engage complementary threads (not shown) at the top of container body 11 . The bottom 22 has an inclined or conical wall 24 which leads to a nozzle 26 having...

Abstract

The invention relates to a closure of a dispenser for determined dosage of powder, in particular to a dispenser for a container, which comprises an O-shaped ring with a central part, wherein the central part is provided with at least one hole. The O-shaped ring is connected with a valve, and the size of the valve is designed to be equal to that of an opening of the dispenser so that the dispenser can be closed; and the valve is operationally connected with the opening and is biased in a closed position. The O-shaped ring used as an actuator is pressed to lead to the inward movement of the valve, and the valve enters the container and leaves the opening, thereby allowing contents to be dispensed from the container through at least one hole of the O-shaped ring.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to dispensers, and in particular to closures for dispensing metered doses of powder. Background technique [0002] Powdered beverages are packaged in different containers according to consumer preference and usage. Conventional containers for powdered beverage mixes include single-use packages, as well as bulk containers. For single-use packages, the user opens the package and pours its contents into a liquid container, such as a bottle, cup or can, and then adds water to form a liquid beverage. For bulk containers, the user scoops out the desired amount of powder and adds it to the liquid container to mix with the water therein to form a liquid beverage. [0003] One disadvantage of conventional single-use powder packets is that the user cannot easily customize the amount of powder added to the liquid container to adjust for a particular container size or personal taste preference. In addition, the single-use packs con...
