Abstract

The invention provides a method and a device for processing a multipicture video image, which solve the problem that the participants have poor visual experience because the characteristic of each sprite can not be simultaneously satisfied when the multiple pictures are adjusted in the traditional technical scheme. The method comprises the following steps of: receiving a data code stream of multiple sprite video images, and respectively balancing the effects of multiple sprite video images by using control parameters according to the characteristic of the picture video image; and synthesizing the balanced multiple sprite video images into a multipicture video picture. The invention can uniformly adjust each sprite video image to the same image characteristic effect, and then the sprite video image presents the same picture characteristic during displaying, therefore, the multipicture video image consisting of the sprite video images achieves the harmonious integral style and enhances the visual experience of the participants during displaying.
