AI Technical Summary

Benefits of technology

This technology allows for precise measurement of certain chemical elements (CaO) found naturally occurring during cement production without requiring complicated or expensive laboratory facilities that may be necessary. Additionally, this method does away from harmful side-effects caused by other materials used in the process such as sulfur dioxide gas). Overall, these technical benefits make it easier than ever before to study how different types of calcium oxides react when mixed together at high temperatures.

Problems solved by technology

This patented describes different ways to study chemical reactions between two materials: Quicklime and Calcobaltite. These techniques help identify specific components that contribute towards reducing these reactants' ability to bind oxygen effectively during their removal processes. However, current analytical tools used alone may lack accuracy due to factors like calcification caused by other compounds added together. Therefore, technical problem addressed in this patents involves analyzing both quicklylime and calcarbonites separately without overloading them downstream.

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for analyzing components in calcined lime in desulfurization of smoke. First some calcined lime powder is fetched, which is dried under 100-110 centigrade to thoroughly remove the water contained, then is burnt under 650-700 centigrade to ensure that Ca(OH)2 is completely dissolved into CaO and H2O, and CaCO3 is not dissolved, in this way the mass difference before and after the burning will be the water content generated by the dissolution of Ca(OH)2, and by the water mass, the content of Ca(OH)2 can be calculated; then the method and device disclosed in patent 200610054402.5 is used to detect the content of CaCO3. The invention is easy to operate, needs few equipment and reagent, analyzes accurately, can determine the actual contents of different components especially CaCO3 in calcined lime, because CaCO3 is an inertial substance in the calcined lime and will block the reaction with SO2 and influence the desulfurization efficiency. The invention can also be used for analyzing components in slaked lime.
