In the reverse parking auxiliary system, a warning sign is projected behind a current vehicle when the current vehicle reversesto enter a parking space. The reverse parking auxiliary system comprises an information acquisition unit, a projection angle calculation angle and a control unit, wherein the information acquisition unit is configured to acquire parking space information, information of other traffic participants behind the current vehicle and position information of the current vehicle; the projection angle calculation unit is configured to calculate the horizontal and vertical angles of a projection element, and the horizontal and vertical angles enable the projection element to project the warning sign on the outer side of the rear edge of the parking space; and the control unit is configured to adjust the projection element so that the warning sign can be continuously projected on the outer side of therear edge of the parking space when the current vehicle reverses to enter the parking space.
