The invention also discloses a construction method of the large-section shaft heading machine. The construction method comprises the following steps of: making the guide hole exceeding a shaft-forming depth; causing the bottom end of the first-level vertical conveyor to stretch into the guide hole; driving the cutter head by using a main driving device to rotate for tunneling, and conveying residue soil to the ground by the first-level vertical conveyor and the second-level vertical conveyor in sequence.
