By using a second-order differential equation, the auxiliary system with the same structure is constructed, an output is z1, an input is h, and h is K times of error between x2 and z1. In the novel disturbance observer, an estimated value of disturbance of the CSTR system is q times of a difference between h and u1, wherein q is a system coefficient.
