Abstract

The invention discloses Application of sodium houttuyfonate in preparation of products for prevention and treatment of diabetic cardiopathy. Houttuyfonate sodium can be use for preparing product for preventing and treating diabetic heart disease, regulating myocardial energy metabolism disorder, and improving glycolipid metabolism abnormality. The invention has been proved by experiments that: (1)sodium houttuyfonate has preventive and therapeutic effects on diabetic heart disease and cardioprotective effects; (2) It can regulate the disturbance of myocardial energy metabolism; (3) It can reduce the increase of blood lipid caused by diabetes mellitus and has the effect of lowering blood glucose.
