Abstract

The invention discloses a vehicle traveling analysis method based on gate plate recognition data. The method comprises the steps that individual traveling is recognized based on preprocessed gate plate data; group dividing is conducted on gate plate recognition data based on plate numbers, sorting is conducted according to time, and a gate sensing sequence is generated; a single traveling is recognized according to traveling time threshold values sensed by front and rear gates, and the gate sensing sequence of the vehicle is segmented into a plurality of sub traveling sequences; based on traveling sub sequence information of the vehicle, individual traveling information of the vehicle is extracted combining with the gate sensing sequence. According to the method, traveling regularities andcommuting characteristics of the vehicles can be analyzed from the perspective of an individual vehicle object based on vehicle individual traveling information, and vehicle and residential place recognition is included; an OD matrix between each gate sensing pair and traffic flow of a significant road section can be obtained from the level of aggregation counting; group dividing can be conductedon the vehicles by combining with plate attributes to conduct counting analysis on traveling characteristics of different vehicle groups, and characteristic aggregation sorting of non-local vehiclesis included.
