The mechanism comprises a vertical edge riveting bracket and two straight edges riveting mechanisms which are opposite in direction and are vertically arranged on the vertical riveting bracket; each of the straight edge riveting mechanisms comprises a straight edge nip mechanism and a straight edge pressing plate bending mechanism. The straight edge pressing plate bending mechanism comprises a straight edge pressing plate mold strip, a straight edge bending mold strip and a straight edge driving rack. The two straight edge driving racks are separately mounted on two sides of the vertical riveting bracket. The straight edge pressing plate mold strip is mounted in front of the straight edge driving rack. The straight edge bending mold strip is located on the inner side of the straight edge pressing plate mold strip, is mounted in front of the straight edge drivingrack through an overturning shaft at the top end, and is parallel to and attached to the straight edge pressing plate mold strip. An overturning gear is mounted on the overturning shaft. The overturning gear is engaged to an overturning rack. The overturning rack is connected to an overturning air cylinder.
