Problems solved by technology

Domestic scholar Chen Xiangyu and others also tried to cut the catheter open, take out the contents and send them to the pathology department for examination. It can be seen that the use of pathological methods to detect the contents of the catheter has become a new direction in the development of nursing, but the contents may be destroyed during the dissection of the catheter Therefore, it is necessary to explore a method that can completely preserve and detect the specific components, so as to prevent and reduce the incidence of clogging

Embodiment Construction

[0021] The present invention will be described in further detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0022] Such as figure 1 , figure 2 and image 3 As shown, step P101 is formaldehyde fixation: after the catheter is pulled out, cut off the joints and connecting tubes at the head end, and immediately soak them in formaldehyde to ensure that the material in the catheter can maintain the original histological structure. The concentration of soaking formaldehyde is 75%. Soaking time is 24 ~ 48h;

[0023] Step P102 is alcohol dehydration: after the formaldehyde fixation is completed, rinse the formaldehyde remaining in the catheter with running water, and dehydrate with alcohol. Soak in five different concentrations of alcohol in sequence, including 70%, 85%, 95%, 100% and 50:50 (alcohol: 7200 glue), each alcohol soaking time is 1d;

[0024] Step P103 is cutting and arranging and fixing: the catheter is taken out after dehydration, and the catheter is cut i...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for detecting the PICC catheter content. The method comprises the steps that a pulled-out PICC catheter is immediately soaked with formaldehyde with the concentration being 75% to be fixed for 24-48 h, running water is used for cleaning away the formaldehyde, and dehydration treatment is performed; ethyl alcohol of five different concentrations is adopted for dehydration, and the ethyl alcohol of each concentration is used for soaking for 1d; after dehydration is finished, the catheter is taken out, a pair of scissors is used for cutting the catheter into sections of the length being 3 cm, the sections are fixed in sequence through PSBB transparent double stick tape, arranged into two rows and stacked together, and finally resin glue is used for complete soaking and curing; after curing is ended, pathological section are formed together with the catheter, finally, HE is adopted for dyeing, and the content inside the catheter is directly observed under a microscope. On the premise that the content in the catheter is not damaged, the specific ingredient of the content blocking the catheter can be completely detected, the foundation is laid for further making pertinence measures, the occurrence rate of blocking the PICC catheter clinically is decreased, and the non-planed extubation rate caused by catheter blockage is decreased.

Description

technical field [0001] The patent of the present invention belongs to the field of medical technology, and specifically relates to a method for detecting the content of a PICC catheter. Background technique [0002] Since the 21st century, tumors have become a major disease that threatens human health, and chemotherapy is the main treatment. And peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC, peripherally inserted central catheter) as the main channel of chemotherapy has set up a lifeline for cancer patients. The PICC catheter is punctured from the peripheral vein, and the tip of the catheter reaches the superior vena cava, avoiding the direct contact between the chemotherapy drugs and the superficial veins of the upper limbs; and the blood flow in the superior vena cava is fast, which can quickly dilute the chemotherapy drugs and reduce the stimulation of the chemotherapy drugs on the blood vessels , effectively protect the veins of the upper limbs, reduce the pain of repeat...
