Abstract

The invention discloses a method for prolonging a viewing period of sapium sebiferum. The method comprises the step of regularly spraying an aqueous solution of potassium dihydrogen phosphate or saccharose to sapium sebiferum cutting seedlings before the viewing period. Compared with the prior art, the method has the advantages that the increase of accumulation of saccharides and other nutrients in leaves of the sapium sebiferum is facilitated; the growing period of the leaves is prolonged due to the increase of the nutrients, so that the viewing period is prolonged; the content of anthocyanin is increased due to the accumulation of the saccharides, so that the ratio of the anthocyanin to chlorophyll in the leaves is increased, and thus, the brightness of the leaves is improved.
