The method comprises the following steps of configuring a cache region, and caching contents of a current accessed page in at least one current page caching block of the cache region; determining a page access direction; when the page access direction is a downward page access direction, preloading contents of at least one downward and continuous page of the current accessed page, and caching the contents in a downward caching block of the cache region, wherein the downward caching block is different from the current page caching block; and when the page access direction is an upward page access direction, preloading contents of at least one upward and continuous page of the current accessed page, and caching the contents in an upward caching block of the cache region, wherein the upward caching block is different from the current page caching block. According to the scheme, the page display efficiency can be improved when a user performs page access.
