Problems solved by technology

[0003] However, comparing the wind speed forecasted by the WRF model with the actual wind speed, we will find a phenomenon that increases the forecast error, that is, when the observed wind speed is small, the predicted wind speed is too high, and when the observed wind speed is high, the predicted wind speed is too small , can be called the phenomenon of "can't go up, can't come down"

Embodiment Construction

[0035] In order to better understand the present invention, the content of the present invention will be further described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and examples.

[0036] A WRF model wind speed correction method based on self-similarity proposed by the present invention, the overall technical roadmap is as attached figure 1 As shown, consists of 3 steps:

[0037] I. Calculate the self-similarity index α of the historically observed wind speed in the target area;

[0038] II. Establish a WRF real-time forecast system for the target area;

[0039] III. Establish a revision module.

[0040] Described step 1 comprises:

[0041] (1) Extract the fluctuation structure in the historical observation wind speed time series of the target area;

[0042] (2) Calculate the linear slope k and time scale δt of the fluctuation structure in the historically observed wind speed time series;

[0043] (3) Determine the self-similarity index α of the historically obs...

Abstract

The invention provides a self-similarity-based WRF mode wind speed correction method. The wind speed correction method comprises the following steps of I, calculating a self-similarity index alpha of a historical observed wind speed of a target region; II, establishing a WRF real-time forecast system for the target region; and III, establishing a correction module. According to the self-similarity-based WRF mode wind speed correction method provided by the invention, a forecast wind speed of a WRF mode is corrected based on a self-similarity index of an actual wind speed, so that the forecast wind speed can better conform to reality; a real-time processing module is established based on a correction algorithm, thereby realizing real-time correction of the forecast wind speed of the WRF mode; and the method can effectively reduce a wind speed forecast error of the WRF mode and further improve the accuracy of wind power forecast.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of new energy technology, in particular to a self-similarity-based WRF model wind speed correction method. Background technique [0002] The WRF model (Weather Research and Forecasting Model) is a mesoscale numerical weather prediction model. Its development began in 1997. The U.S. Air Force Weather Bureau and the University of Oklahoma's Storm Analysis and Forecast Center jointly initiated the establishment. Now, WRF has been supported by scientists from many other research departments and universities to participate in development research. The WRF model system has many characteristics such as portability, easy maintenance, scalability, high efficiency, and convenience, making it easier to apply new scientific research results to operational forecasting. After nearly two decades of development, the WRF model now has the most advanced numerical methods and data assimilation techniques, adopts an improved physical p...
