Abstract

The invention discloses a system and method for eliminating a purple boundary of an image. The method comprises the following steps of: traversing pixel points of the image by the system, calculating hues of the pixel points, counting the pixel points in the purple hue and the pixel points close to the purple hue by utilizing a pre-set threshold value interval, and calculating the ratio of the pixel points in the whole image, so that a dynamic purple boundary detection threshold value is obtained; creating a template image, which is same as an image obtained by an image obtaining module in size, and obtaining the pixel points falling into a purple boundary area; and correcting the detected purple boundary pixel points, and correcting a red intensity value and a blue intensity value by using a green intensity value. The invention further provides the method for eliminating the purple boundary of the image. By means of the system and method for eliminating the purple boundary of the image disclosed by the invention, the purple boundary of the image can be automatically corrected; the image shooting quality and the user experience are improved; the problems of complex hardware structure, high hardware cost and long research and development period due to change of the structure of a camera or a lens traditionally can be avoided; and simultaneously, the problem that the purple boundary is corrected unreasonably due to erroneous judgement because of unreasonable threshold value setting can also be avoided.
