Abstract

The invention discloses an automatic pricing machine. The automatic pricing machine comprises a support piece used for placing goods, a camera used for carrying out image capture on the outer surfaces of goods, and an image processing device used for identifying bar code regions on pictures shot by the camera and reading bar code information. The image processing device is connected with the camera. According to the invention, by arranging the camera and the image processing device, through once image capture and processing of images, one or more commodities can be priced, thereby facilitating improving of code scanning efficiency, reduction of labor intensity of cashiers, and reduction of payment time of customers. Meanwhile, production cost of commodity manufactures will not be increased; identification effects are quite good; the distance requirements between the commodity and the camera are reduced compared with the distance requirements between the commodity and a code scanning device in the prior art; and scanning missing phenomena are reduced.
