Abstract

The invention discloses a third-party positioning method based on a mobile terminal. A to-be-positioned mobile terminal is defined as a first terminal. A cell in which the to-be-positioned mobile terminal is positioned is defined as a first cell. An accurate positioning auxiliary platform refers to a platform for providing an electronic map service; a plurality of mobile terminal users are online at the same time on the platform; the mobile terminals are defined as auxiliary positioning mobile terminals; and the auxiliary positioning mobile terminals are provided with global satellite positioning modules, and continuously upload global satellite positioning data of the auxiliary positioning mobile terminals and position data of cells in which the auxiliary positioning mobile terminals are positioned to the platform. The third-party positioning method comprises the following steps: selecting one or more auxiliary positioning mobile terminals which are closest to the position data of the cell in which the first terminal is positioned from the accurate auxiliary positioning platform according to the position data of the cells in which the auxiliary positioning mobile terminals are positioned after acquisition of coarse positioning position data of the first terminal through first cell base station data by a mobile positioning center; and performing accuracy calibration on the position data of the first terminal by using the global satellite positioning data of the terminals.
